The Ceterus Universal Transport System product family is the first in the industry to meet this recommendation for bonding T1, E1, and T3 circuits. Circuit bonding allows the creation of a single high-bandwidth virtual pipe from individual, lower-speed circuits. There are millions of copper-based circuits currently in place delivering data and voice to enterprises that need more bandwidth but cannot afford fiber. The new standards will speed deployment of new copper-based approaches, allowing service providers to connect high-speed services to the 90% of businesses not connected by fiber. With circuit bonding technologies, carriers will be able to reduce access costs, to reach every location with high-bandwidth services, and to use existing networks more efficiently.
