Ceterus President and CEO To Speak At Ethernet Expo 2007

Panel presentation to focus on wireless backhaul

RICHARDSON, Texas – Oct. 11, 2007 – Ceterus Networks, a provider of flexible transport systems for next-generation cell tower backhaul and enterprise data applications, today announced that its President and CEO Dave Stehlin will speak on a panel presentation at the Ethernet Expo 2007 in New York City, Oct. 15 to 17.  The panel session, titled “Carrier Ethernet Infrastructure:  Solutions for Wireless Backhaul,” will be held Oct. 15, 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.  In addition, Ceterus will be exhibiting at the event at booth number 333.

“Backhaul is a major issue for mobile communication providers, and one that will be with us for a long time to come,” said Stehlin.  “Ceterus has been ahead of the curve on this issue and has developed solutions to meet the massive backhaul needs that carriers are demanding for the high bandwidth requirements of 3G and ultimately, 4G technologies.  This panel will articulate what these backhaul implications will mean to not only carrier Ethernet providers, but to the industry as a whole.”

The panel will analyze how carrier Ethernet capabilities are changing to address the emerging high-bandwidth transport needs for mobile traffic backhaul.  The panel will focus on topics including:

1. Equipment for wireless backhaul
2. Managing timing issues
3. Managing subrate DS0
4. Managing Ethernet traffic
5. Aggregation methods
